World Scholars graduates celebrate as streamers fly through the air at end of graduation ceremony

Educational Results Partnership (ERP) recently released its ninth annual “Honor Roll” list, which recognizes top public schools, school districts and charter schools that have outperformed their peers in closing achievement gaps, particularly among higher-poverty and historically disadvantaged student populations.

STISD earned a spot on this year’s Texas Honor Roll Districts list, while four STISD campuses earned spots on the Honor Roll Schools list, including Health Professions, Preparatory Academy, Rising Scholars, and World Scholars.

Three students from STISD Science Academy were selected to participate in this year's STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) Summer High School Intern Program in collaboration with The University of Texas Center for Space Research (UT/CSR) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

STISD will serve free breakfast and lunch meals to children 18 years old and younger from our local communities and enrolled students up to 21 years old with disabilities this summer from May 27 through June 27.

The meals will be served via dine-in only at the cafeterias of four different STISD campuses. Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:30 a.m., and lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
