We are preparing to launch our new messaging system - SchoolMessenger - to deliver family communications.
This system will allow us to communicate with parents/guardians via email, automated phone calls and texts (SMS).
In order to receive text messages from the district, all STISD parents/guardians must opt in to this method. If you do not opt in, you will not be able to receive texts from STISD.
If you have already opted in to receive texts, you should be all set to receive texts from us.
If we have an SMS text phone number for you on file AND you have not already opted-in by texting Y to 67587, around 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 26, you should receive the following text from 67587 requesting you to opt-in to continue receiving important informational text messages from your child’s school: “STISD messages. Reply Y to confirm, HELP 4 info. Msg&data rates may apply. Msg freq varies. schoolmessenger.com/tm”
Pleas note: This is a real text, so if you would like to receive text communications from STISD and your child’s campus, please respond back to this text or follow the steps in the attached flyers to ensure you are opted in.
